Born in Temba, a small place in Hammanskraal, situated in the north of Tshwane, formerly known as Pretoria, is where he spent his early childhood and kindergarten days while living with his Grandmother. In 1995, his parents managed to secure a place in an informal settlement called Zenzele in Daveyton, near Benoni and Putfontein, where he spent his primary and high school days. During this time, he started experimenting with writing and performing music, inspired by the rise of Mzambiya & Msawawa. Ironically, in his first year of high school, the teachers and school pupils started calling him "Msawawa" after his performance at the school's Valentine's Day event.
After high school, he pursued his interest in photography at the Vaal University of Technology, where he developed a passion for content creation. One of his highlights at varsity was when he was hired by Kwesta’s Event Planning Company to cover their event, which featured renowned artists like Black Coffee, KO, KID X, Zakwe & MaE, among others. This experience marked the beginning of his photography career, and he fondly remembers Kwesta and his team giving him his first gig and paycheck as a photographer.

In 2014, he became the president of Lucrative Entertainment, a record label, where he managed the studio, handled artist PR, marketing, photography, and graphic design. He also initiated the #FreestyleFridays project, which became a popular gathering at Lucrative Studios and helped the company discover new artists. This led to the creation of his own company, Underskor Films, co-owned by Peter Motlou, the founder of Lucrative Entertainment.
Over the years, he continued to expand his creative endeavors, co-founding Imagination Cloud Studios, which served prestigious clients like Capitec Foundation, Birchwood Hotel & Cricket SA. Notably, he launched the first radio show to broadcast on WhatsApp, called #SoulSoulSundays, leading to the birth of the first radio station on WhatsApp, #WhatsAppRadio #WAR, which featured shows on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
In 2019, he founded #UnderskorWorld, under which several brands and projects were initiated, including Saint Knoks Foundation, Saint Knoks Top 5 For Creatives, Aero Kidz, Laundry Buddy SA, Underskor Canvas & Wall Art, Creative Arts Mentorship Program, The Soul Buffet, The CreActive Magazine, QA Live With Kristen Block, and Mzansi Beats Championship.
His creative journey has taken him to Mozambique, where he has covered events in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Presently, he serves as the Assistant District Manager at Emerald Life, CEO at Underskor World, and holds various roles such as Director, Content Editor, Graphic Designer & Writer at The CreActive Magazine, Content Producer at QA Live With Kristen Block, and Content Creator for Mzansi Beats Championship, Candy TsaMandebele, Shades Of Chill & Laundry Buddy.
In 2020, he was selected to participate in a program by BASA & The Department of Arts & Culture, empowering creative entrepreneurs with promising ideas. He was shortlisted among 118 participants who received startup funds of R15,000 each. The program is ongoing until 2022, with the top 10 participants set to receive funding of R50,000.
In recognition of his talent and hard work, he has received awards and accolades from various platforms, including East Rands Awards, SAFUA, 011 Awards, and ASEAwards.
